Stardew Vale creator is working on another "new project" besides Haunted Chocolatier
Stardew Valley creator Eric Barone, AKA ConcernedApe, has some other "new project" up his arm beyond Haunted Chocolatier.
Barone made bighearted news today when helium announced his succeeding game, an loveable chocolate shop simulator he describes as "more of an action-RPG" than Stardew Valley, but still "uplifting and life-affirming." Haunted Chocolatier's reveal house trailer features plenty of gameplay and shows off a miscellanea of environments with a vaguely familiar, predictably charming, pixel prowess pleasing.
In a FAQ page for Haunted Chocolatier, Barone says he started working on Haunted Chocolatier in 2020, just more significantly, he confirms IT's not the lone recent matter He's fashioning. "[Haunted Chocolatier is] actually not the first operating theater only 'parvenu project' I've been working connected, but it's the one that I believe I will terminate kickoff."
An interesting detail about that quote is that Barone not only confirms he has another project in development, but also seems to show that it started development before Haunted Chocolatier. Since Barone expects information technology to take longer to be ready for launch, that could suggest a fancy that's larger in scale than Haunted Chocolatier. Or IT could fitting mean Barone is prioritizing Preoccupied Chocolatier for whatever grounds.
Barone hasn't revealed anything about his other, separate game, then information technology's impossible to sound out what it could be. Or even if it is a game! Maybe it's a Stardew Valley movie stellar Timothée Chalamet.
